Air pollution is a big issue for South Korea and continues to increase and cause problems for the
people. The government believes this issue has come from South Koreas two biggest trademarks
the spas and barbeques. This issue has had changes over the years but still seems to increase over
time. Unless this problem is resolve diseases and other problems can enter and damage the lings
or other organs in the body. This country has had a concentration of PM10 which is less
hazardous 76 in 2012. The country believes China and Mongolia are the causes of this dilemma
and tries to address the issue with the best amount of cooperation they can have. Seoul is one of
the most popular places in South Korea and is one of the most polluted areas in this country.
Measures have been taken in order decrease the amount of air pollution that runs through the
country. Guidelines must be followed in order to keep the county running and tourism to
continue coming. The country has replaced diesel fueled vehicles and compressed natural gas
vehicles off the road ways. A way that the country plans is to increase the use of public
transportation that creates less air pollution like buses, carpooling, bikes, walking. Studies are
being conducted in order to see how to decrease pollution from other countries Solutions for this
country could be to decrease in amount of barbeques and spas in the area. Decrease the amount
of smoke and gases that come out of the grills and stoves in restaurants. Limit the amount of
steam coming out of the saunas that floats in to the air. A solution could be to use more
recyclable material as a fuel source or use them to power the grills to cut down on of smoke
emitting from the grill.
Slow GDP rate

South Koreas growth is increasing but at very slow rate as the years continues. The economy
has increased over the years. Other countries were surprised at how South Korea has developed
in to one of the most fortune and stable counties compared to the rest. Production has increase in
this country but export grew less in the 2
nd
quarter of 2014. As projects expand and the country
grows for construction and equipment for buying and selling the restaurants, hotels or other
services in that same level are slowly decrease in between a slow increase. This shift adjusts
seasonally two quarters ago the GDP of 0.9% was the countries previous rate. The latest number
the economy has found to be the rate of GDP now is 0.5%. Over the years South Korea has been
fueled by exports which are considered half of the nations GDP. They depended on the amount
of exports alone which explains the decrease in GDP for the nation. The population has increased
the demand for products have also increased. The numbers of exports have been decrease due to
many financial occurrences. The domestic market has been limited, the demand increase but the
supply decreased due to the population increasing. The average percentage for the country is 3.6
but in the second quarter of the percentage is 3.5%. A solution for this issue is to not solely rely
on exports but to balance the usage between them. Although the country cannot control the
amount of population it has because it will decrease the amount of money for the whole country
but regulate the flow of goods and services to all sections. Regulate the amount of exports to
certain areas of the country could be another possible solution. Increase the variety of products to
benefit different parts of the country.
