about my present accountabilities as well as my future plans in particular what I am planning to
do and to achieve in few years to come. Besides it will also paint a picture of what I shall be
doing after my graduation. Moreover it will also shed light about my Academic skills I have
thus far possessed, my social skills, and my goals and also about my future educational interest.

My Academic Skills
I enrolled the University of Namibia ever since 2011 till 2014 under the department Early and
Childhood Development Education. Having been a UNAM student I have been subjected to be
educated various educational theories and undergoing through some hard core practical
experiments which are a must to complete my Degree (Honours) for Pre & Lower primary
Level. In this department I have been trained all the basic elementary school subjects to ensure
that I have procured the basic competence and skills enough to educate the young ones.
Throughout the years I have been acquiring the following skills: Reading skills which consist
of Letter formation; sounds recognition; sight words; reading comprehension, including main
idea, following directions, details, conclusions; reading rate; critical thinking skills: Writing

Word recognition, word meaning, words in context, multiple meanings. However, as time went
by I have had opportunities to learn more about Information and Communication
Technology(ICT) and obtaining also computer literate skills which I am now equipped with to
facilitate learning and teaching and improve performance.

My Social Skills
University is a large sociable ground where I had come to meet different ethnic groups with
various ways of communication and different educational backgrounds which most of them had
been a threat and challenge to me to go along with. However, because of the methods of
learning utilized at University I was exposed to cope with learning environments where I had to
co-operate with different students with different ways communication and this helped me much
to develop my social skills and excel in some of them. I developed the attitudes of interacting
with my fellow students until I get acquainted with them in many areas especially those of my
area of Specialization. As time lapsed by I started to develop interest in social gatherings and
alPicture
socialize with people of the same beliefs and interest, this was a tremendous opportunities I had
ever came across with in the University to boost my social skills. I developed interpersonal
skills, personal skills, leadership skills and also presentation skills, all these skills took me time
to learn and observe diligently how things are done in real-life to keep the same rate with my
fellow students of whom I have had laid my trust to support me in many areas of my
weaknesses. Finally I discovered that all things were easy as longer as I kept an intact good
relationship with people around me and avoid developing selfishness attitudes which would
have hindered my social skill development.

My Goals
As Lower primary undergraduate student teacher I am always interested in exploring in
different areas of learning to get acquainted with new advanced ways of teaching and learning
and developing new ways of approaching problems especially those that pertain to human
healthy mentally and physically and to unearth the solutions to why people end up doing what
they do in real-life to cause havoc and hardships in their lives. This interest provoked me to
reflect upon my career that I have just chosen and to evaluate it thoroughly to see how far it
would take me in my life interest. As I went through the lane of my memory I discovered that I
am just bound to do this career because of financial restraints in my life otherwise if it were not
financial shortage then I would have gone to some better careers that appeal my utmost interest.
Therefore my ultimate goal is that after some years ahead to come if God permits I would
divorce teaching career and further my studies to pursue my most interest career which is to
solve Human problems in connections with modern technologies. I did not assert that teaching
profession is tedious no but I mean that teaching and working with kids all the yearlong wont
really help you to be productive in life because there is no concrete progress there. You will
even be tempted to forget English and many skills because you will be bound and confined to
their local languages.

Future educational Interest
My future educational interest is to develop Namibian societies to come to the level of
developed nations as some other countries in Africa at least to help young people to be
acquainted with new modern technologies and to create more self- independent enterprises
through discipline training environments and also to caution them about the danger of being
ignorant and the consequences of hosting the illiterate cultures in the country as ours Namibia.
Bringing young people to the knowledge of God to avoid all kinds of immoralities which
terminate many lives of young people in our country.
