Melanorosaurus
Melanorosaurus (meaning "Black Mountain
Lizard.
The Greek "black mountain" + sauros lizard is
a genus that lived during the Late Triassic
period.
A herbivore from South Africa, it had a large
body and sturdy limbs,
Suggesting it moved about on all fours.
Limb bones were massive and weighty,
like sauropod limb bones.
tyrannosaurus
Tyrannosaurus means ("tyrant lizard
from Greek tyrannous which means
"tyrant," and which means "lizard") is
a genus of coelurosauriantheropod dino
saur. The species Tyrannosaurus
rex (rexmeaning "king" in Latin),
commonly abbreviated to T. Rex.

Diplodocus
Diplodocus is an extinct
genus of diplodocid sauropod
dinosaur.
Its fossils were first discovered
in 1877 by S. W. Williston.
The generic name, coined
by Othniel Charles Marsh in 1878,
is a Neo Latin term derived
from Greek diplos "double"
and dokos "beam.
