Year 9 Aquarium Excursion
Dear Parents/Guardian,
This term Year 9 students are studying Ecosystems and Food Webs. As part of this
unit we are having an excursion to apply the learning so far in this unit to marine
ecosystems.
Students will be investigating Marine Ecosystems, while exploring the topic of who
eats who. They will then be expected to report their findings and understandings
once back at school.
This excursion will take place on Friday 1st May 2015. Students will leave Point Cook
College by bus at 9.00am and return before 1.00pm.
Full school uniform is required for this event and all students should dress
appropriately for the weather. Students are required to bring their lunch and a drink
bottle in a disposable bag.
Please return this permission form with $24.70 to cover the cost of the
excursion by Friday 24th April.
Students who do not participate will be reallocated to other classes.

Year 9 Aquarium Excursion

I give permission for my child in Year to
attend and participate in the Aquarium excursion on Friday 1st May 2015.
I enclose $24.70 payment to cover the excursion costs for this event.
In the event of illness or injury to my child whilst on this excursion I authorise the
teacher in charge of my child, if unable to contact me or it is otherwise impracticable
to contact me, to consent to my child/ren receiving such medical or surgical attention
as may be deemed necessary by a medical practitioner.
