old. It also offers advice about how to help your
child to be active. It is a great parent education
resource.

This website has an entire page about how to
raise an emotionally, socially, and physically
healthy child. The site is geared towards
parents, but I think teachers would find it useful
too. There are some great articles about self-
esteem and the role of praise and

safety topics. While I wouldnt buy their entire
curriculum it is a great resource to tap into when
planning safety curriculum for your class. It also
offers some free activities and online games.

children might use. It also has resources for how
to stop bullying and bus safety. October is
national bus safety month so this is a great
resource for teachers to reinforce bus safety
with their students. Also, most bullying happens
on the bus, so October is a great month to
address this as well.
