Philosophy of Design
Design The purpose, planning,
or intention that exists behind an
action, fact or material object.

functional problem in the most
simplistic of fashions.
Consider the umbrella, a design
that has lasted years of change
but remains uniform.
Web Design
Web design merges the need for
aesthetic beauty with optimal user
functionality/experience (UX).
Minimalist design sites such as
Google follows the philosophy of
Focus on the user and all else
will follow.

Great UX
Navigation is a crucial element in
the UX.
Lets the user know which part of
the webpage they are on after
using hyperlinks.
Eliminates any feelings of being
lost.
The logo of the company or site
should be at the top of every
webpage, linking back to home.
Hammering the Fact
Well executed navigation saves
time on behalf of the end user.
Increases platform compatibility.

Navigational Uniformity
Websites generally use blue or
red for links that have already
been visited.
Those that dont follow this
unnecessarily confound the UX.
Also sites that have no logo on
the top can also frustrate users
who are used to such
conveniences.
Waiting is overrated.
