BDE Configuration for VMS Clent&Server

Install the IBSS client from IBSS installation DVD for BDE(Firebird) Installer.















After installing the IBSS client
Click Control Panel


Then Open the BDE Administrator














CREATE Report&ExpImp path
Right Click the DatabaseNewSTANDARD


Click Ok









Rename the STANDARD into Report




















Select the path of the IBSS Commserver database For example 192.168.1.254:C:\IBSS\RptExpImp


Then Click Save













Create another new standard databse for ExpImp and rename it ExpImp
And select the database path for example 192.168.1.254:C:\IBSS\RptExpImp




Then Click save












CREATE INTRBASE database for IBSS database path
Create INTRBASE database and rename it according to the IBSS Commserver alias name for
example:IBSS














In the server name Select the IBSS Commserver database path for example:
192.168.1.254:C:\IBSS\database\ibssdemo.gdb


Then Click Save
