1.Summary
The Oculus company after much time spent in the development has advanced their consumer
virtual reality prototype technology. At a conference the latest simulation for the prototype was
demonstrated ''Crescent Bay'' which allows the user to explore a virtual yet seamless environment.
At this point in time there are 1 environments to choose from!some fully functioning and populated
with thrilling scenarios such as standing on a "uildings edge or "eing approached "y a T#$ex. The
technology has advanced far from previous stages contri"uting to an extremely immersive
experience.
%espite the impressive results and upgraded audio and visual &uality of the $ift virtual reality
prototype the Oculus company claims its still not ready to "e commercially released to consumers
yet ! "ut is in a good place with the to "eing on its way in the future.

results were slightly closer to the topic at hand and more useful.
