Fall turns and blesses us then with many an odd and instantaneous thing..

like mother
black bear saluting one with minor dilation of her eYes... for she too has many things still
left to do... a blustery day here for me sky full of all manner of clouds... gangs of
bumblebees working the last few shifts afore the autumn winds and rains throw down all
the last remaining fowers of summer.... here in the campus garden i collect a few more
tomatoes that others would've left to rot on the more than proverbial vine...i am happy
for seconds none else want..as my less than zero budget requires i glory in them things
left behind (not that i wouldn't anyways)... just back now from a break to eat at home...i
will push forward on a few ceramics projects for my class in which i am behind...as i do i
will listen to mister fahey here...and continue my thinking on the poet wendell berry who
was heavily conjured by the days agri*kultural themes... bees, butterfys, fne clouds and
otherwise.....i thought perhaps you might like to join the parade of these sounds, words
and images that seem so apt for this still fresh second week of autumn....
yes...yes...though lacking the acid wit and fre of Frater Baraka...they still have an
ancient earthy harvest of truth to ofer us.
thus this is frst pass to rise the fag of Fallpurely an exercisefurther polishes to
come.
