Planets and structures

Planets.
Planet types
Planets come in different types, the basic planets are,
Rocky,
Oceanic,
Volcanic,
Icy,
Jungle.
Different races have different species bonus on different planet types, all races get 20%
bonus on citadels (I will cover citadels later).
Efciency
Efciency is a planetary statistic that ranges from 1 to 10,
each level has a percent building time reduction for
structures, and anything built on the planet.
Mining
There are three types of building resources that can be
mined, they are,
Metal,
Gas,
Crystal,
Each resource has a rating on a planet, this tells you the
abundance level,
for example, when you build an extractor the abundance
bonus will increase the extraction by a set percentage, the
formula is
% boost = (rating - 1) times 100
so for an abundance rating of 3 it would look like this,
(3-1)*100 = 200%
the maximum boost is 400%

Efciency
Species Bonus
Species bonus is a planetary stat that
increases resource extraction rate
depending on your species and planet
type,
the table to the right shows the
percent bonus fro each species for
each planet.
Slots
Each planet has a number of slots,
these are used to build structures, the
maximum amount of slots is 12.
Structures
Each structure has a Terran, Nivelian, or Vossk variation. Each structure can be leveled up
to 20.
With each level the time it takes to upgrade the structure increases.
Building types
Headquarters - Main building on a planet, Level limits the level of the rest of the buildings
on the planet.
Citadel - Mines artifacts of the type on the planet
Metal Extractor - Extracts metal from the planet
Gas Extractor - Extracts gas from the planet
Crystal Extractor - Extracts crystal from the planet
Shipyard - Builds ships and carriers

Species Bonus
Barracks - Trains troops
Laboratory - Holds different techs and blueprints. Max 3 per lab
Scanning Array - Scans planets for intel and provides missions of various levels
Trade Center - Provides extra storage space for resources and
able to trade resources on the planet.
Planetary Defence - Provides extra defenses for ships
stationed on the planet.
Headquarters
The headquarters is the main structure of every colonised
planet, the level of the HQ dictates the maximum level of the
other structures, therefor the HQ must be upgraded before you
can upgrade other structures.
The level of the HQ also gives a bonus to the resource capacity
of the planet, see the table to the right.
Citadel
Citadels are remnants from the time of the Old Ones, ancient
aliens that died out millennia ago, these citadels are scattered
across the nebula on planets that you must colonise to gain
access to, once owned you can mine for artifacts.
There are three types of artifact, red, blue and yellow, these artifacts can be use to boost
your carriers,
Red increases the attack force and accuracy of bombers and ghters.
Blue increase the defence and hitpoints of interceptors and ghters
Yellow increases the speed.
I will cover artifact boosts and how to use them effectively in the next subject.
Extractors
Extractors mine the resources available on the planet, Metal, Gas and Crystal,
unfortunately I do not have complete data for extraction rates.

Trade Center bonus
Shipyard
The shipyard builds the various ships and carriers
needed to carry out missions and attack/defend
planets, the level of the shipyard dictates which of
these can be built, also some types of ships/
carriers require blueprints to be researched
before they can be built.
See the table for details on which ships/carriers
are unlocked at which level.
Barracks
Barracks allow the training of troops which are
vital for protecting your planets and fro
conquering other planets.
The cost and training time for each marine
reduces with each level the barracks are
upgraded.
Laboratory
The Lab is a research facility which provides the ability to research planetary tech and
unlocks blueprints.
Each lab can research up to three tech at once, the techs are,
Metal extraction - this boosts the extraction rate for metal.
Gas extraction - boosts gas extraction
Crystal - boosts crystal extraction
Ship Defence - Each level increases the defence bonus on
the planet, including all defending carriers
Bomber defence - decreases the number of troops lost to
bombardment.
Ground battle - increases the efciency of all defending
troops stationed on the planet.
Silo - each level increases the total resource capacity for the
planet.

Blueprints and the levels at which they are unlocked.
Scanning Array
Scanning arrays can be used to scan for either short or long distance missions, these
missions are great for acquiring artifacts, credits and blueprints,
they are also used to produce spy drones, these drones can then be used to spy on
enemy planets, which can give an insight to the amount of ships and troops on a planet,
these scan results can vary in accuracy, in theory the more drones used and the higher
level of the scanner the better the results, however in practice these results have been
found to be very inaccurate, even when 100% scan has been used.
Trade Center
The trade center provides extra storage
capacity for resources and also can be used
to exchange different types of resources, the
amount of extra capacity increases with each
level of the structure, see the table for
capacity boost and exchange rates for each
level.
Using the TC combined with the silo tech in a
lab you can increase the planets capacity by
massive amounts, Ill cover that later.
Planetary Defence
Planetary defence is a structure that gives a
shield bonus to defending eets, while the
bonus is low at rst level it offers a huge
bonus when upgraded to level twenty, level
one only gives 10% but level twenty gives
250% bonus!!!

Trade center stats
Standard initial setup
At rst, you should build at least one barrack on each of your planets and if the resource
production capacity can provide enough to supply more than one build another, this way
you will gain higher troop quantities quicker with the bonus of more XP, the only exception
to this guideline is on smaller planets with not enough slots (small citadels)

Home1 is my backup ship production planet, there are two shipyards so that I can recover
losses quicker, I have all blueprints unlocked at this planet, so I can recover any losses in
the safety of my home system, it also has a barrack so I can train troops in addition to
Home2
Home2 - Troop production and resource bank.
HQ

With this setup on Home2 I have the capacity for 13.5million of each resource, I keep one
level 20 yellow Mk3 in my home system, this is used to transfer resources to Home2 for
troop production

Home3 - Resource extractor and scanner.

Home3 is used as a resource production planet and has a scanner for use in times of war,
I constantly build drones here and currently have over 20k drones ready for use.
With my home system set up this way I have the ability to rebuild my eet if I lose all my
outer planets, if I wish to rebuild quicker I can pop out of my home system gather some
resources from either my allies or setup a resource planet and ship back to my home
planets, then I can be back up to a reasonable strength to assist my fellow Jedi fairly
quickly.
I have seen other home system setups, but this works for me, use this as a template and
modify it to how you feel is best for you.
