Serina is a mathematician because she thinks like one.

She prides herself on having an

open mind to all possibilities, no matter how ridiculous they may seem at first. Serina has
learned and come to understand, over the past few years, that every problem has an
infinite amount of ways to be solved. In the past, math was a topic she did not enjoy
because her mind was closed to the diverse methods of solving but, upon entering and
attending High Tech High, she has learned that any approach can lead to answers if she
perseveres. This has brightened her life and added to her enjoyment of school greatly
and she is even considering a career as a mathematician in her future.
