The buttery is a ying insect with two wings and two antennae. They
have three main body parts: the head, thorax and abdomen. Butteries have
a long proboscis, or tongue, that they use to drink nectar from plants.
Butteries come in many different colors and sizes. Butteries live only
around 40 days. Some butteries only live for three to four days.
A buttery starts out as an egg and grows into a caterpillar. The
caterpillar then forms a chrysalis. Inside of the chrysalis, the caterpillar turns
into a buttery.
You can nd butteries anywhere in the world, except for Antarctica.
