Responsibilities:
I observed patients large multi-disciplinary treatment meetings with Dr. Lambert,
and advised on cognitive behavioral therapy methods and strategies for treatment.

I spoke informally with patients and accompanied Dr. Lambert and inpatients off
the unit on trips observing social interaction.

Responsibilities:
I attend large multi-disciplinary treatment team meetings for patients of post-
traumatic stress disorder and sexual abuse traumas survivors care plan. It is led
by Dr. Wait or Dr. Loewenstein, regarding interventions implemented and
encouraged as well as elicit suggestions from treatment team members.

I organize and facilitate groups for patients on managing stress-tolerance and
modulation, symptom management techniques, and instruct journaling and
discussion among the group of inpatients. I record the results in progress notes.

I counsel one on one symptom management, trained in techniques incorporating
dialectical behavior therapy, and cognitive behavior therapy. I have also been
trained in the use of hypnosis under the units psychiatrists. I record the results in
progress notes.

I have attended a workshop on managing difficult patients and have been trained
to work with altered states of dissociative identity disorder patients.

I am trained in suicide prevention, crisis intervention, CPR and first aid.
