Bangladesh has recently seen a population increase due to many reasons. Migration greatly
attributes to this cause. Bangladeshs population has increased from 44.1 million in 1951 to 160 million
people today. Internal migration from rural to urban areas are causing the population of Bangladesh to
sky-rocket. Though struggling with economics, many people wish to live it cities or on the outskirts of
Bangladeshs cities to search for job opportunities or livelihood. This country has also seen a rapid
increase in its population due to the very high CBR. Bangladeshs CBR is almost 22, while its CDR is a low
5. The children being born is greatly out-weighing the people dying. We believe that to sustain this
country, they need to regulate the migration patterns, and also regulate the amount of children being
born. They need to get their population density under control before their carrying capacity over flows.
To slow the demographic momentum we believe that Bangladesh needs to stop the migration. Instead
of becoming communist and making their citizens only have 1 child like China, they can simply cut off
the migration patterns to slow down the process. Leaders of Bangladesh can control the population by
adjusting the level of development. If they can advance their medical care, they can increase the life
expectancy. They also need to educate the upcoming generations so they know how not to

overpopulate their country. Bangladeshs doubling time is 43.67 years. Its ecumenes are DHAKA
(capital) 15.391 million; Chittagong 5.239 million; Khulna 1.781 million; Rajshahi 932,000.
Germany on the other hand, has seen a population decrease in the recent years. This is caused
by their CDR being higher than their CBR. This decrease is also an effect of slow migration patterns. Not
many people are wanting to move to European countries because of cold weather and unemployment
rates. First to sustain the country we believe that Germany needs to increase its population and at least
get it out of the negatives. Since Germany is in the possible stage 5, they need to go back a stage. To
slow the demographic momentum they need to advertise pregnancy of women, and also get the middle
age people in the work force. They should offer incentives to women to promote having children.
Possibly less taxes, or land. To control the population Germany should welcome migrants, and
encourage them to come over. The total fertility rate dropped from 2.1 to 1.4. Bringing this percentage
up would also help control the population. If Germanys population keeps decreasing, they will never
