The energy consumed by the vehicle-
overcome rolling resistance
Asphalt road- visco-elastro-plastic material
When the vehicle passes on the road,the
road deflects vertically. This deflection is
released as thermal energy
The embedded PEG converts the
deformation on the road into electric energy
The deflection is proportional to the weight of
the vehicle and the asphalt stiffness.
The generators embedded at a depth of 5cm
below the road.
Source-The deformation of the generator &
shortening of piezoelectric columns in the
generator , generates charges on the
piezoelectric columns.
