Plan: Teacher will show short clips of people doing different types of
activities or photos of objects on the screen projected to the class and
have students collectively create a detailed observation of what they
just saw. The teacher will type out the descriptions that the students
have created on Word that can be projected in front of the class. The
teacher will have students pick out adjectives and highlight these words
in one color and do the same for nouns and verbs highlighting them in

Activity:
Students will create detailed descriptions of what they see together as a
class by raising hands to offer ideas. Teacher will be typing out the
descriptions given on a Word document that is projected in front of the
class. After each description, the teacher will ask students to identify
the adjectives in the description with raising hands to offer suggestions.
If correct, the teacher will highlight the word in a specific color and then
move on to locating nouns and verbs and using a different color for
each.

Review:
Students will be given a worksheet filled with different sentences and be
asked to underline adjectives, put a box around nouns and circle verbs.
The students can work independently on the worksheets and then
review them with their classmates at their table after everyone has
finished.
