will require a specific type of planning.
_____/20 First Draft: The first try at writing on the topic. Written in pencil or blue/black ink. Can be messy with crossed out words,
phrases, or sentences.
_____/10 Self-Revision/Edit: Must answer all questions or write N/A if a question does not apply. Please use N/A sparingly! Writer
should make at least one change to Draft 1 as a result of self-revision/edit.
_____/10 Peer Conference: Must answer all questions or write N/A (again, use N/A sparingly). Writer should make at least one
change as a result of peer conference.
_____/20 Second Draft: Must be typed. Writer should incorporate changes from the self-revision/edit and peer conference. Use spell
check and grammar check to minimize errors. Indent all paragraphs and use correct punctuation and capitalization!
_____/10 Teacher Conference: Evidence of teacher conference will be written on Second Draft. Always have your writing ready
when waiting for a teacher conference.
_____/20 Final draft/published piece: Pay close attention to editing marks and comments from teacher conference. Correct errors.
