EDUP 535: Presentational writing task

Instructions for students:
In groups of 3, prepare a game that Spanish-speaking children aged 6-10 years old could play to learn
about an animal that spends part of its life in Latin America and part of its life in the U.S. or Canada.
As a group, you will do the steps below:
1. Choose a migratory animal that travels between a country in Latin America and the U.S. or
Canada.
2. Choose a game board design.
3. Write the instructions for the game.
As an individual, you will do these steps:
4. Write the text for at least 5 spaces or cards used in the game. Indicated your spaces or cards
with your initials.
5. Write a summary of the game for the game package. Include a summary of the animals
migration story and a summary of how to play the game.
6. Write a note of where you made improvements after the prototype trial.
Your grade for the project will be based on these criteria:
