Review
God our Father created the world to show his love for us. Jesus tells us that God
loves us and listens to our prayers. God wants to help us. An important way he
speaks to us is through our conscience.
Prayer
Loving God, I see the world your great love has created. Help me share your love
with others by guiding me to make good choices and to do the right thing.
Faith Summary
God created each of us with a soul and free will. We see his love in the world he
created for us. We have the responsibility to care for the things God created.
The truth about God and his plan for us is found in the Bible. The Theological
Virtues of faith, hope, and charity help us carry out Gods plan.
Adam and Eve turned away from God by giving in to temptation. When we turn
away from God, we hurt our relationship with him and with one another. God,
however, did not abandon Adam and Eve, and he will not abandon us.
Although we are all tempted to sin, we have free will to choose how we will
act. When we make an examination of conscience and cooperate with the Holy
Spirit, we can choose to live in true freedom.
My Response
In this unit you learned more about God, our Creator and Father. What will you
do to be closer to God? How will you work to take care of his creation?
