All KS3 students are encouraged to create and design their own hat/accessory that represents the colour spectrum/wheel. Anything goes and needs to worn on the day! Use any materials and make as big as you like. Prizes to be won!! Monday 10 th November 2014 The Art and Science Department intend to create an aerial view picture of the colour spectrum on the astro turf. When? Science Day, Monday 10 th November 2014 during CEP How? Students will wear specific coloured tops This onto this All secondary students should bring in a T-Shirt/top to wear for this activity. The following colours are suggested for each year group:
Year 7 - Yellow/Lemon/Mustard Year 8 - Purple/Maroon/Violet Year 9 - Orange/Peach Year 10 - Green/ lime/mint/bottle/forest Year 11 - Pale blue/Indigo Year 12 - Red/crimson Year 13 - Red/Crimson Staff - Royal Blue Students are also requested to be creative with the front of their T-Shirt or top by accessorising following the theme of the colour spectrum and Science. Process KS3 students will get multiple choice paper to test your scientific ability. These are general science ability questions not necessarily linked to the curriculum. Its open to all students interested . You get one week to complete round 1 paper. due 4 th November
All completed papers must be submitted back to Ms Dibble Top 30 students (scoring highest marks) will be contacted and will be eligible for round 2 (paper II ) From second round top 5 science enthusiast will be selected. These top 5 will battle out face to face on 10 th
November for the title of WIS Science champion.
