Witness Comments:
I, George Brown, confirm that John Smith, develops and implements
proactive monitoring systems for health and safety in the workplace.
A good example of this is the daily workplace inspections which John
devised and carries out to determine workplace hazards. He has designed
a template for the inspection and completes this as he undertakes his
inspection. I have accompanied John on these inspections and have found
him to be very thorough, checking both documentation, systems and
procedures as well as the actions of individuals.
The result of his findings are then communicated via email to each
department supervisor for action.
At the end of each week John completes a report on the close out of any
actions and any still pending.
As a result of Johns monitoring systems there has been a reduction in
accidents and loss of production over the past months.
