The beef cattle are not selective to what they are consuming, they seem to be eating all
they can out of what they have in the pasture. When the cows eat, they seem to tear at the
grass by lifting their heads then they begin to chew their grass in an up and down and side
to side motion. They also seem to be eating all the grass from top to the ground.
3. Both the Momma cow and Red cow seem to be aware of our presence in observing them,
but the Momma cow seemed irritated by us the whole time we observed the herd on
account that she had a young calf of her own to care for. All the cows, even the calf, were
constantly looking around, making sure that there were no sign of predators around to
hurt them.
