In this globalized era and the world has become a

'global village (combined societies throughout the

world through modern communication), knowledge
is becoming increasingly sharp.

Therefore, teachers should and must constantly

update and boost their knowledge.

According to Mohd. Idris (1990), to allow educators to play a positive and effective role as a practitioner and
presenter of knowledge, they need to plan in an on-going basis:
-prepare themselves

-make the school as the

knowledge mansion and

as knowledgeable
people
-develop their morality

scholars as the societys

through basic religious

-offer their dedication

-enhance the efficiency,

and leadership in

sharpness and skill in the

Teachers or educators should also have the devotion as well as commitment to

the profession and their moral responsibilities.

As a knowledge practitioner, a teacher must have adequate professional

responsibilities which are rounded by truth, honesty, no self- interest, depend
on the strength of arguments, rational, objective, critical, open-minded,

pragmatic, and neutral from the dogmatic value in interpreting the truth of
reality (Jujun S. Suriasumantri,1990) .
