By reciting this mantra, run both the palms from head to toe of the body. First, do this from head to
toe and after this, cross forearms and run the palms from shoulders to finger tips.


7. Tiraskarii
This prayer is to be mentally made to Her. This is the mantra.

9. Laghu prapratih:
Prapratih means infusing vital energy (pra) into the yantra. Take flowers, keep this on anhata
chakra (centre of the chest), recite the following mantra and at the end of recitiation, keep the flowers
on ri Cakra.

10. rnagara pj

Place flowers on ri Cakra by recting the following mantra.

11. Dpa pj

Offer flowers to the lamps. This is one of Agnis mla mantras.

12. Bhtauddhi


Inhale through left nostril by reciting mla mantra and exhale through right nostril and similarly
inhale through right nostril by reciting mla mantra and exhale through left nostril.
13. Nys-s
Please perform japa nys-s here.

This is done like a japa. Following is the general procedure and this is to be done first.

Keep the right palm on the heart and recite the following mantra three times and after that recite mla
mantra three times.

15. Ptra sdana
i) Procedure for establishing vardhan kalaa:
Sprinkle some water by reciting and place a base and on this place vardhan kalaa. Take water from
kalaa ptra and pour into vardhan kalaa. Add powdered condiments.
Place the right palm on the vardhan kalaa and recite mla mantra eight times.
Now take water from the vardhan kalaa and sprinkle on all pj articles by reciting mla mantra.
ii) Procedure for establishing smnya arghya:
Sprinkle water from vardhan kalaa and place the base of the conch. Again sprinkle water from
vardhan kalaa on the base and place the conch and sprinkle water vardhan kalaa on the conch. Do
this procedure by reciting mla mantra.
Now pour vardhan kalaa water into the conch by reciting mla mantra.
Offer flowers and akata for the smnya arghya.

Now by touching the conch, recite the following mantra.

Now take water from the conch and sprinkle on all pj articles by reciting mla mantra. Fill the
conch again with water from vardhan kalaa and place it on its base.
iii) Consecrating viea arghya:
By taking water from smnya arghya and sprinkle on the ground where the base of viea arghya is
going to be kept by reciting the following mantra.
ai hra astrya pha |
Now show avakuhana mudra on the place where the base of viea arghya is going to be kept.
Now place the dhra (base) and offer flowers by reciting the following mantras.

Now do prokaa with water from smnya arghya on the viea arghya ptr and after this place it
on the dhra. After placing it again do prokaa by saying

 ai hra astrya pha |

Now show avakuhana mudra on viea arghya ptr.

By reciting these two mantras place akata on viea arghya ptr.

Now take a piece of peeled ginger and hold in the left hand with tattva mudra (joining thumb and
ring finger of the left hand is tattva mudra). Now take kraa kalaa in the right hand and pour amta
(viea arghya) slowly through into the viea arghya ptra by reciting mla mantra.
Now by reciting the following mantra offer some akata on the viea arghya.

By touching the viea arghya ptra, recite the following mantra eight times.

By recting the following mantra, offer flowers and akata to viea arghya.


Now worship Sudh Devi with yoni mudra.
Now using an uttarai, transfer one uttarai of viea arghya to Guru ptra after reciting each of the
following mantas. Thus there will be three transfers from viea arghya ptra to Guru ptra.

Now transfer this viea arghya from Guru ptra to tma ptra Take this tma ptra in right hand and
hold the bottom of the ptra (a small cup) using thumb, middle and ring fingers.
Recite the following mantras now.

Recite mla mantra three times and consume viea arghya from tma ptra, wash the cup and keep
this in its original place. This is required again towards the end of navvaraa pj.
Now add a few drops of viea arghya into kraa kalaa (in whihch viea arghya was prepared).
Similarly, add a few drops of viea arghya to smnya arghya (conch).
From now on viea arghya and smnya arghya should not be shaken or moved from their
respective places.
16. Invoking Her in ri Cakra:
Take some flowers in the right palm, keep them in heart chkara and recite mla mantra three times.
Now transfer the flowers thus held to both the palms and after reciting this mantra place the flowers
on the Bindu.

By recting the following mantras, offer flowers and water for the first three mantras and the next two
mantra offer only flowers and akata.

17. Magalartrikam
A copper or silver plate and rice or wheat flour, milk, nine wicks, ghee and camphor are required.
Mix flour with milk and sugar and make dough. Using the dough prepare nine triangle shaped lamps
and set aside enough dough to make one more lamp for kuladpa

After completing the recitation, show chakra mudra to the lamp.
Now take the lamp and rotate clockwise nine times in front of (like diprdhana) Kmevar and
Kmevar (if idols are available) and ri Cakra by reciting the following mantra.





samasta cakra cakreyute devi navtmike |
rtrikamida dubhya gha mama siddhaye ||
Keep the lamp on your right side and this can be taken away and the plate be cleaned. In the
cleaned plate, keep the remaining one lamp which should be shown towards the end.

Caturyatana Pj
By reciting these mantras, offer flowers on the respective sides relating to ri Cakra.

layga pj
The universe originates from Bindu and dissolves into Bindu. Keeping this philosophy in mind,
layga pj is done. Bindu is worshiped three times at this point.

Gurumaalrcanam ||
{How to do r pduk pjaymi tarpaymi nama (subsequently mentioned as spptn). Take
flowers in the left palm using only thumb, middle and ring fingers. In the right hand, using the same
fingers take a tweezer or a copper/silver rod/stick with ginger attached at one end. Whire reciting
spptn, place the flowers and dip the tweezer with ginger in viea arghya and pour a drop of viea
arghya on the place where worship is done. Offering flowers and viea arghya should be done
simultaneously.}
Mahpdukk mantra:
Mahkmevara (Paramaiva) is worshipped in the bindu with this mantra:

We have to keep viea arghya in a separate vessel for offering as naivedya apart from regular
naivedya. Sprinkle smanya arghya on all naivedya items by reciting mla mantra.

Preparation for bali:

Place a plank on this and do prokaa with smnya arghya by saying ai h
astryapha. On this, place a copper plate. Now transfer small quantities of naivedya, viea arghya
and smnya arghya into the copper plate. After having completed this process, all naivedya items
should be taken away from the pj area. Balidna will be done towards the end.
35. Offering tmbla:

36. kuladpa:
Nine lamps were used there and the balance one lamp is to be used here. Place that lamp in a copper
or silver plate and offer diprdhana three times with this lamp by reciting this mantra.

Take water from vardhan kalaa in uttarai using right hand. Form tattva mudra (connecting left ring
finger and the thumb) and pour the water from the uttarai through tattva mudra (shown here) on the
contents of bali ptr. After doing this place the uttarai back in the vardhan kalaa. Now clap using
both the hands three times and show avakuha mudra using right hand.
