Auction donations received by March 1, 2013 will be listed in the auction program.
Eighty percent of the event profits raised at Kappa Delta Sororitys Shamrock n Shag will be
given to our local Prevent Child Abuse America benefactor, Safe Child of Raleigh, and the
remaining twenty percent will be sent to PCAA to fund nationwide public awareness programs.

Dear Silent Auction Donor,

As Vice President of Community Service for the Eta Upsilon Chapter of Kappa Delta ()
Sorority at NC State University, I am thrilled to update you on our recent Shamrock n Shag
event. Thanks to your silent auction item we exceeded our goal and raised over $10,000 for
SAFEchild Raleigh and Prevent Child Abuse America. More than 550 members of our
community attended this fun evening and we were so pleased that our sponsors, silent auction
donors, and benefactors received such tremendous exposure.
SAFEchild (StopAbuseForEvery child) is Wake Countys only non-profit providing direct
services to local families. SAFEchild serves approximately 900 families annually through its
group parenting programs, new mother mentoring, and the SAFEchild Advocacy Center. In
addition, SAFEchild teaches thousands of first and second graders about Funny Tummy
Feelings, which helps children understand about emotions, good and bad secrets, and trusted
adults who can provide assistance if needed. Your contribution to our event makes these
programs possible.

children and families in our community, and nationwide, receive critical programs, information,
