Kimball,
I do not know why the records were sealed in 00CRB40542. If there was a judge's order to do so, we assume that
proper procedures were followed, and we obey the order.
There were a number of appeals and cases which were related to 00CRB40542. They are:
C01-0465
C01-0466
C03-0178
C03-0179
C03-0180
M03-0161
In many of those cases, it was required that the record from the underlying criminal case be filed. There was never
an order to seal those cases. If the documents were not scanned, you should be able to view them by coming to our
office and requesting the case file. Because of their age, they might be at our records center on Winton Road. We
can ship the files to the court house for you - a one or two day proposition - or you can go to the records center
yourself. Let me know if I can help in any way.

I was looking on your web site just now at this case
IOO/CRB/40542

It's Nate Livingston's conviction from 2000. There are many documents sealed in that case. Why were they sealed?
Were the proper steps taken in the process to appeal? We'd like access to those documents. If you require, I'd like
to request them under Ohio's Open Records Act.
If you have questions, please let me know.
Thanks
