Job Description:

Understand defense in-depth strategies and apply those to Clients environment


Assist in developing and maintaining Client asset classification and categorization in the
SecureWorks portal.
Assist with Clients change management processes
Maintain knowledge of current security trends and be able to clearly
communicate them to Client.
Understand and interpret SecureWorks portal data, and act as trusted security advisor to the
Client.
Understand Clients culture, security strategies, security goals, security objectives, security
capabilities, and security budget.
Maintain knowledge and attend briefings.
Provide information security project management assistance to Client.
Work with Client to assist with technical security escalations.
Keep Client abreast of problem status, set clear expectations, provide timely follow-up to
Client, and independently handle challenging Client situations on a daily basis.
Maintain knowledge of outstanding development issues and communicate development
roadmap to Client as appropriate.
Conduct web portal training for Client team members.
Provide reporting to Client personnel on a regular and ad-hoc basis.
Provide feedback for service enhancements from Client to SecureWorks.
Act as Initial go-between for Client and the SOC for escalations
Development of the interface processes and procedures
Tracking / Reporting of SLAs
Project management and drive to closure

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


Knowledge and work experience desired in one or more of the following technologies: CISCO,
Juniper, Checkpoint, McAfee, Blue Coat
Detailed knowledge of security technologies and trends.
Working knowledge/experience of network systems security principles and applications
Fundamental understanding of the defense in depth strategies.
Ability to apply very good technically oriented concepts to problem solving.
Excellent Client service skills.
Very strong written and verbal communications skills in English.
Work effectively across functional teams.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks and projects and assist/advise support
engineers in establishing appropriate priorities
Self-starter; ability to motivate others
IT security certifications are desirable
