ImportingwelldatainPetrelcanbeatimeconsumingprocess.Therearemultipletypesofdata(headers,
logs,completion,etc.),eachhavingmultiplepossibleformats.Hopefully,yourcompanydatabasetakes
careofmuchofthisimportforyou.However,youwillprobablyhavetoimportdataatonetimeor
another(newwellsdrilled,wellsmissingfromdatabase,databoughtfromanotherparty,etc.).Most
experiencedPetrelusersarefamiliarwithimportingalotofthedataittakestofullydescribeawell.Many
havenevertriedimportingcompletiondata.ThatisthepurposeofthisTIPS&TRICKS.
Usually,importingwelldatahasuptofiveseparateimports.Theyare:
