Great listening and rule following in class yesterday, as
promised I have a new version of gold rush today called 4
corners.
Go over with the class rules for Wonka tag and see if they can
predict rules for gold rush based on the games we played in the
last two classes
FREEZE = Zip, Sit, Drop

Follow rules, work together, do your best, have fun.
On board in class everyday class schedule
Get students to spread out and yell 3,2,1, GO

4 teams (one in each corner)
In your own zone you are safe, if you get tagged in
another zone you must go tag your own corner before
you are free. Put your hand up so people know you have
been tagged.
Be careful and dont run into anyone, walls, cones,
corners
No throwing bean bags, no kicking bean bags, can only
steal one at a time
Explain game then go over expectations again then
short class in to 4 teams

Thumbs up sideways or down how much you liked this class


Gather students back in circle by yelling freeze waiting telling
them when you say unfreeze to quietly make a circle then
make some closure comments.
Line up at the door wait for them to quiet down and have the
star of the week lead them back to class

I feel like this lesson when pretty well, next time I would make sure I laid out

a few more safety guidelines and explained how to save people a little
better. In the end students loved it and everyone was very engaged.
