Camps. I am interested in employment from March 15th to March 21st.
My involvement in organized sports, extracurricular activities and volunteer opportunities has
taught me many important life skills. As a senior member of a team, I understand the
importance of engaging with younger swimmers and being a role model.
I have been swimming competitively since age four. I swam with Ogopogo Summer Swim Club
for 10 years. At the age of 15 I started swimming with the Kelowna Aqua Jets. Both clubs have
taught me the importance of working hard, commitment and setting goals. I feel that my
experience and passion towards swimming would be beneficial and a positive influence
towards children as they grow and learn through sport. I have been immersed in swimming
most of my life and feel I am knowledgeable in the both the training and technical aspects of
sports. I am excited to develop and learn more about coaching. I get along well with kids and
want to help them discover what hard work, dedication and having fun leads to. My strong
leadership skills will help support young athletes to fulfill their goals.
My work experience includes; Line Judge and Referee at Kelowna Minor Football. This job
requires me to think on my feet, be aware of multiple things going on at once, make informed
decisions and be knowledgeable of the rules and regulations of the game. Also I have worked as
a bus-boy and dishwasher at the Coras Breakfast and Lunch and Cafe Soleil in Kelowna. These
jobs required me to work efficiently and be a team player.
