I feel comfortable learning new technology tools
as they emerge.

Is there anything else you want to tell us about your Technology preparation at SI?
I think that SI has the ability and the classes necessary to learn almost any technology that
students might encounter in college. However, most of those classes only cover the basics of
the programs and/or they are electives that are not easy to get into. I think most students
naturally learn the programs they need for their intended field of study at SI, but if a student
is unsure of their intended field of study or there is a very specific program for that field, it
can be difficult to be adequately prepared.
Learning Excel was somewhat useful. I'm doing an internship right now but none of the skills
I learned at SI are being used. I haven't used "=B3 + C5" or whatever even once.
more engineering options would be good. has there ever been thought about robotics at SI?
More use of excel would be good

Year by year, technology becomes ever more important. A business degree in a good school
still turns out to be a business degree, but a background in CS distinguishes job candidates. I
wish I had taken CS back in SI, as my college schedule does not allow that anymore. These
basic computer skills are essential to be successful in whatever job one takes up. SI should
push students to take a CS class. I heard this year AP CS didn't even have a physical teacher.
That's unacceptable for a high school that prides itself as a college preparatory.
