Terms of Membership Agreement

Membership Fees: Membership fees are subject to change by the Board of Directors. No member shall be charged an increased rate or additional fees
prior to written notification. Membership fees will not change within a current membership period.
Payment Plan: Members who wish to make 2 payments for a 1 year membership should contact the corporate office. First payment of $165 will be due at time of application.
Second payment will be automatically drawn from payment form provided 2 weeks from initial payment date. This payment option is subject to all terms and conditions.
Non-Profit Memberships: Each individual designated as a member under a business or non-profit membership is responsible for all fees and charges for that membership.
Memberships do not expire. You will automatically be billed for the next term at the end of the current term. In order to cancel or change your membership status you must
contact the corporate office at least 14 days before the renewal date. Notices of renewal will be sent via email 30 days prior to renewal date.
Inactive Status: Memberships may be placed on hold for up to 10 weeks to accommodate extenuating circumstances. Approved circumstances for a temporary inactive
status include business travel, personal health or family, or any situation approved by corporate prior to the request start date. The absence time requested will be added to end
of the current membership period. Linking Women Networking Organization must receive a written request to instate a hold status. Should member return prior to the full term of
requested hold end date, the allotted extension will be adjusted accordingly.
Chapter Transfers: Should a member transfer be deemed necessary for any reason, member must contact corporate office for transition paperwork and authorization. One
chapter transfer per membership lifetime. Chapter Director does not hold authority to facilitate a chapter transfer.
Resignation: Any member who wishes to resign in good standing must submit a written resignation at least 14 days prior to automatic renewal date. If all outstanding charges
have not been paid in full, the membership will be deemed terminated and the account will be recommended for collection proceedings. Any member who has resigned in good
standing can reinstate the membership at a later time.
Reinstatement: A former member in good standing at the time of resignation may reactivate membership provided seat requested is open. There will be a $50 reactivation fee
added to membership for former members who resign and wish to rejoin the same chapter.
Delinquent Accounts: After 30 days, unpaid accounts are considered delinquent. Unless satisfactory arrangements for payment are made, membership privileges may be
suspended or revoked.
Guests: Members are encouraged to bring guests to Linking Women Networking Organization meetings or events. Guest attendance incurs no fee, however guests are
expected to purchase lunch.
Guest members (member of another chapter) are welcome to attend sister chapter meetings and events at no charge provided their membership is in good standing. Guest
members are expected to purchase lunch. Guest member attendance is limited to 3 visits per 6 month period. Please contact the Chapter Director prior to attending a sister
chapter.

MEETINGS
Private Meeting Space: Chapter Directors are responsible for securing a central meeting location for the chapter. Every effort is made to locate a venue that offers a private
area conducive for holding meetings.
Meeting Fee: There is no fee to attend meetings as a member or a guest (guests are allowed two meetings). All attendees are expected to order lunch from the menu options
agreed upon between the Chapter Director and the hosting restaurant. Individual tickets are paid directly to the restaurant.
Special Dietary Needs: Every effort will be made to handle special dietary requirements of members and guests. If a member has dietary restrictions, please contact the
chapter director prior to attending a meeting or event.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Co-Sponsorship: All events or programs co-sponsored by Linking Women Networking Organization must obtain written approval from the corporate office and must comply
with the policy guidelines as approved by the Linking Women Networking Organization board.
E-mail Policy: Linking Women Networking Organization reserves the right of use of members e-mail addresses for internal marketing. Linking Women Networking Organization
sends e-mail messages to inform the membership of programs, services available to members, cancelled programs and other important information. Members who would like
to be excluded from this list and do not wish to receive regular emails should notify the Chapter Director.
Directory: Member information is made available at the Linking Women Networking Organization website via local and national online directory. Discretion in the use of this
information is requested. Members found using this privileged information for personal gain without the consent of the owner will be removed from the organization with no
refund.
Use of brand: The name Linking Women Networking Organization, Linking Women and associated logo are copyrighted trademarks of Linking Women Networking
Organization and cannot be used in selling or promoting any product or in soliciting personal business. If you have questions about the use of these registered marks, please
contact corporate.
Any Addendums to this agreement must be in writing and signed by member, Chapter Director and a Linking Professionals Networking Organization corporate representative.
