Rewrite the following paragraph, changing each singular

subject to a plural subject. Be sure to change the verbs to
agree with the new subjects.

A murder investigation involves several specialists. A police

officer is usually the first at a crime scene. The officer
guards the evidence and takes statements from witnesses.
The homicide squad sends detectives to the scene. The
medical examiner studies the condition of the body. The
homicide detective discusses the cause of death with the
medical examiner.
