WHAT IS IT..
The shutter speed is basically the amount of time the shutter is open on a
camera. The shutter speed is measured in seconds or in fractions of seconds!
This is an example of a slow shutter speed, this image
has focused on capturing the light of the train.
If you are planning on taking a slow shutter Speed
image then I would use a tripod because the Shutter
speed could go on for a number of seconds.
