Career
Upon graduating from the University of Nebraska, my goal is to acquire a
teaching position as an elementary educator. I hope to gain knowledge and my
certificate to teach elementary students with mild to moderate disabilities. Once I
have my certification, I plan to use my skills and knowledge to improve students
lives.

Teaching Experience

Practicum
I was a practicum student in the spring of 2014. While I was a student,
I was able to lead a 2nd grade classroom in lesson. I was able to learn from my
experiences and gain knowledge to prepare, lead, and evaluate a lesson and a
classroom of students.
Volunteer/Aide for Classroom
In high school, I was an aide to two students in the Special Education
classroom at a local elementary school in Kearney, Nebraska. On a day-to-day basis,
I would help these students work through their personal curriculum. I also, helped
students when they were in their mainstream classroom.

Work Experience
UNL Childrens Center
Student Teacher Aug. 2014 Present
I am a student teacher for the Green-pre-toddler classroom. My duties are to
educate the students through play and redirect poor behavior with positive
reinforcement. I do all these duties while maintaining a safe and learning
environment.
Target Corporation
Cashier Apr. 2012- Present
I am a Target Team Member and work within the Front End. I was hired as a
Cashier, but I am able to work other Front End Areas including the Service Desk. I
am flexible and help the Sales Floor Team whenever needed. This includes zoning,
re-shop, or anything else to benefit my team and store. I also make sure that guests
experience a quality time at Target with a Fast, Fun, and Friendly atmosphere that is
upbeat and clean.
Good Samaritan Society- St. Lukes
Dietary Aide Aug. 2011- Apr. 2012
As a Dietary Aide, it was my responsibility to serve meals to residents at the
home. This required making sure residents were served food that met their dietary

needs. In addition, I prepared drinks and desserts for the main meals. My
responsibilities also including setting and cleaning the dinning room making sure
the residents felt at home. My jobs also required me to wash and put dishes away.
