Subject:
Service Call 17h is displayed in the status monitor or the LCD.
Description:
Service Call 17h error.
Solution:
CAUSE: One of the toners is loose and is preventing the carousel from rotating.
SOLUTION: Manually rotate the toners while pressing in on the carousel interlock at the right front
corner of the printer. As each toner rotates into place, push on the color tab/handle. One of the
toners may make a snap sound. That is the one that is loose. Reseat all of the toners and then
close the printer and let it recycle.
Try to print again. If the print job brings up the 17h error verify that the toners are genuine Konica
Minolta toners. If they are not genuine Konica Minolta toners it is recommended to replace them.
