Punctuation John Dawkins

Connection to World: Just like there are grammatical errors in the English language,
they can also appear in other languages as well. For instance in Spanish having an
accent mark over a letter in a word can change how you say the word and its
meaning.
Connection to Life: In the past when taking tests such as the SAT, ACT, or any
standardized test given to me in a language arts class. Ive encountered questions
that have dealt with punctuation. Like where to put a comma or semicolon in a
sentence.
Connection to something Ive seen: When reading books, articles, etc. Ive seen how
writers use punctuation to get their point across, for readers to understand what the
writer is trying to say and their beliefs. Ive seen how punctuation can help express
a writers feelings.
