EBS4 Agent Tutor Tutorials

Topic 1: Marking Assessments


In this topic you will be shown how to Mark Assessments in EBS4 Agent. You will complete
the following learning objectives:
1. Sign in to EBS4 Agent
2. Enter Your Assessments
3. Enter Mark Assessments for relevant assessment
4. Enter learner results
5. Submit results
6. Print/email Assessment Result Recording report
To use this tutorial you will need:

Access to EBS4 Agent

To be attached to courses that have assessments you have permission to mark

The spreadsheet/marks for the assessments to be entered into EBS4

Learning objective 1: Sign in to EBS4 Agent


1. Open Internet Explorer to Insite page

2. Scroll down the screen to find EBS Agent in the Jump to list

3. Click on this link and you will be redirected to the login screen for EBS4 Agent.

4. Enter your network username and password then click the Login button.
5. You will be logged into EBS4 Agent, and taken to the Home screen.

Learning objective 2: Enter Your Assessments


1. Before doing anything else, please ensure that the Current Year toggle is active at
the top of the screen.

2. Now you can click Your Assessments in the General Links list.

3. This will take you to the Staff assessments screen

Learning objective 3: Enter Mark Assessments


4. In the Staff assessments page you will find a list of assessments that you are
attached to for marking. It will list all of the assessments for each course you are
attached to.

5. For the first assessment for the course that you are marking click on the Mark
Assessment link.

6. This will take you to where the results are to be entered.

Learning objective 4: Enter learner results


1. For this part you will need the spreadsheet/marks that need to be entered into the
system.
2. For each learner double click in the Results column to be able to enter a result

3. Enter the mark

4. Repeat steps 2 & 3 until all results are entered.

5. If there are students that do not have results yet, just leave their Result column
blank and you can come back to it when needed.

Learning objective 5: Submit results


1. When all the results of the assessment are entered you can now submit the results.
2. At the bottom of the screen click on the Submit Results button

3. The page will reload and will now have a Resit button in the Resit column

4. To move on to the next assessment to be marked, click on the Your Assessments


link in General Links and repeat Learning Objectives 3-5 until all relevant
assessments are marked.

Learning objective 6: Print/email Assessment Result Recording report


1. Once an assessment is marked you will then print or email the Assessment Result
Recording report to send to the assessment Confirmer.
2. From in Agent click on the Reports tab at the top of the screen

3. This will take you to the Reports home page

4. In the left hand navigation pane, scroll down until you get to the Assessments folder

5. You can choose from between Assessment Result Recording which allows
multiple occurrence selection (eg you have results for a regular and a youth
guarantee course) and Assessment Result Recording Single.

6. Once the report is chosen enter the relevant information and then click the View
Report button to the side

7. To email the report:


a. Click the Email Report option

b. Enter the email address as shown and click the Add option. You may want to
add extra text to the Email Body

c. Near the bottom of Screen click Send Email

8. To print the report


a. Click the printer icon to print a report

b. The report will then be sent to the default printer set on your computer
