Wendy,

You explained how this ad became a matter of a discussion and how the
location affects the people that live in the area. The location says a lot
about what the ad was saying to the people that live there. You included
the exigencies of the ad and how obesity is a problem today,
everywhere. I think your main claim included that the ad was not
successful and controversial for the intended audience. You framed the
text using Porters definition of intertextuality and Carrolls steps of a
rhetorical analysis. You addressed the exigencies, audience, constraints,
rhetor, purpose, context, and visual analysis. The way you explained it
enhanced my understanding of PETA and what their ads mean to
people. You cited your sources where it was necessary. You chose to
organize your information in a video. I do not think there was anything I
would change about your video. It was very organized and it kept me
interested. I always knew what topic I was on. I think you should
continue with this format because it allows you to illustrate exactly
what you are talking about.
