WEB RESOURCES FOR RCIA
Whether you are an RCIA Catechist or Coordinator, a Principal or a
parish Catechetical Leader or Catechist needing information on RCIA
(Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults), there are many web pages to
help you in your search for information.

www.catholiccincinnati.org/worship/rcia This is the RCIA Page for the Archdiocese of

Cincinnati. There you will find documents, forms, links, ideas for catechesis and up-coming
learning events.

www.catholiccincinnati.org/oec/catalog This is the searchable Media and Print Catalog for the
three regional Media Centers of the Office of Evangelization and Catechesis. Search for videos,
DVDs and print materials for RCIA by topic or author.

www.naforum.org The North American Forum on the Catechumenate supports the full
implementation of RCIA with a calendar of National and International Institutes, a chat room,
book service and articles from “Catechumenate” magazine.

www.teamrcia.com This new web site covers a multitude of RCIA topics, problems, resources
and rites with practical, easy to understand answers and advice.

www.usccb.org This web site from the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops has the
Catechism and Bible online, news, Church documents, Scripture Readings for the Day in print,
audio or podcast, and other helpful resources for RCIA. Videos include Daily Reflections,
interviews with people of note, “Faith Works,” and a series on Sacraments that would be
especially helpful for RCIA.

www.vatican.va To begin navigating this Vatican Web Site, choose English as your language
of choice. A good place to start is the “Map Site” button where you will find a “Quick List of
the Site” and an option to search. You will find encyclicals of the present and past popes,
information on the Curia, the Vatican City State, the Rosary, Saints canonized by John Paul II
and many other interesting resources.

www.disciplesnow.faithstreams.com This web site for teens is great for RCIA Catechetical
session resources for teens and young adults. “It’s Catholic” has an alphabetical list of topics
with short explanations and some links to “Catholic Updates” or “Youth Updates” by St.
Anthony Messenger. “Celebrate” is a weekly reflection on the Sunday readings. Other
resources include Christian music, podcasts and Q & As.
