Artificial Intelligent Tools Leading to Unemployment

humans to compete with machines for employment. To illustrate, this is similar to robotic
arms replacing auto workers on the assembly line in the early 1960s. However, it will
become worst, considering all jobs lost. Therefore, these devices should not be allowed to
perform certain actions of a human, eliminate jobs, or enter the work place if they are not
100 percent accurate.
The use of technology is convenient to many people, allowing things to be easier on
them and less difficult; but the use of technology can soon make life more difficult than
easier with the advancement of
technology resulting in robots
performing actions of humans.
Advancing technology makes machines
and automated systems such as artificial
intelligence smarter and more

them as well. Artificial intelligent tools and robotic devices perform these actions
significantly with the features programmed in them, to the point that they can perform
certain actions better than humans. For some people, this is remarkable, having machines
do what humans do and things are easier on them; however, this remarkable use of
technology can cause a great issue. This issue involves machines in the work field; they
will soon take the jobs of people due to their significant work. According to Wohlsen,
(2014) The idea that robots could make employment itself optional may sound fantastic.
No more work! But the end result could be more, not less angst. Humans will be out of
jobs, resources, and money with robots performing the activities of people and taking all
the jobs as well.
Artificial intelligent tools and robotic devices will soon put workers at risk for
unemployment with eliminating jobs. Whether it is blue or white collared occupations,
these machines are acquired to perform the actions of humans but better with drive,
reliability, consistency, and more. The creation of advanced machines will be the
destruction of jobs and employment for people. They will replace highly educated
workers with robots and the simple jobs will be taken as well. As many as 50 million
professional jobs will be replaced and taken from humans, experts have warned that
rapidly artificial intelligence could lead to mass unemployment (Vincent, 2014).
Academics say half of US jobs could be automated within a decade or two and life will
become more difficult for people without jobs considering the money lost. These
machines take away the work and weight for the people making situations easier but they
will also take away the money and opportunities from people.
With creating and advancing artificial intelligent tools and robotic devices, they
should be 100 percent accurate and perfect to perform any job or replace anyone in health
care, however, they are not. Working in health care involves working and operating on
someones health and life. Robots should not be able to work with peoples health
considering they do not have what humans have to relate and understand, also because

being used to create a machine that will take that job. Robots are made to take peoples
job while humans study and work hard to have a job for success; having a robot who is
not 100 percent as accurate as humans, replace people is more than just unfair.
In conclusion, robotics are slowly obliterating jobs from humans by performing the
actions of them and eliminating jobs without being 100 percent accurate and this should
not be allowed. The belief of many people is that technology solves everything and
artificial intelligence will make jobs greater and convenient but it will destroy
employment for humans. People need to start planning for what is to come with
machines. According to Manjoo, (2011) In the next decade or two, well see, machines
barge into areas of the economy that we never suspected possible. These machines and

Annotated Bibliography
Lubin, G. (2011). Artificial intelligence took Americas jobs and its going to take a lot
more. Retrieved from http://www.businessinsider.com/economist-luddites -robotsunemployment-2011-11
In this article, Lubin expresses other reasons than the recession for killing American
employment. The destruction of employment will be based on the machines
replacing as many as 50 million professional jobs. The creation of artificial
intelligent tools will be the destruction of lives for people in need of jobs and money.
The jobs of white and blue collared workers will be gone due to the machines, even
the simple jobs will be obsolete. The article authorized by Lubin gives an insight on
the negative effects of artificial intelligence tools being created to work.
Manjoo, F. (2005). Will robots steal your job? Retrieved from http://www.slate.com/
articles/technology/robot_invasion/2011/09/will_robots_steal_your_job.html.
In this article, the author discusses the replacement of humans with robots and artificial intelligence in
the work field. It summarizes the qualities and abilities the machines have that humans may not have
on an everyday basis. The machines may lack the intelligence that a highly educated person may have
but they make up for it in their drive, reliability, consistency, and most of all price. This article is a
helpful source for receiving an overview on the abilities machines have and will have in the future.

The journal from wall street discusses the use of robotic tools in health care compared to a human
working as a anesthesiologist, physician or more. It is explained as though a machine in health care is
cheaper than a anesthesiologist doing certain procedures. Its bad enough they have fought a long
