The highlighted part is something great in business operations in case the operations manager knows
the market.
Here we assumed that this manager doesnt know the market (it is clear because he doesnt know about
UAE procedures for importing goods. The imported goods will cost him more than buying from local
market) this is first mistake.
The second mistake he is not confident because he wants the Management in Singapore to control
everything.
The third mistake he thinks that working without assistants is good and he saves money but its a
mistake because he needs people that know UAE market.
The forth mistake is thinking that he can have advantage in market which is something he is not aware
about because he is operating in new market.
