Health care law clinic offers free workshop on creating advanced

directives for medical care
Tucson, AZ The Wellness Law Clinic is sponsoring a free community-wide workshop: Creating
advanced directives. The workshop will be Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the clinic, 215 Mesa Vista in
downtown Tucson.
Its important to have a say about how you want to be treated if you get very sick or are in an accident.
Advanced directives allow you to state your preferences for medical treatments and to select an agent
or person to make your health care decisions in case you are unable to do so or if you want someone
else to make decisions for you.

As a participant, you will complete legal forms that ensure you make your own health care decisions and
spell out the kind of health care you want.
The Wellness Law Clinic sponsors dozens of free workshops every year, and helps low-income
community members maintain their access to quality health care.
About the Wellness Law Clinic
The Wellness Law Clinic provides hands-on lawyering opportunities to law students under the guidance
of a practicing attorney. It serves the community with health-related legal problems.
