What did you think of the ICT tools you used in this assignment?
(eg How easy were they to use? Were you able to do everything you wanted to do?)
During the process of doing the report, my computer is the ICT tool that I used the
most. It is very helpful, I can type out my work and research on the internet.
Almost all of the information of the suggested ICT equipments is based on the
internet. I really appreciate that I have a computer to help me. However, there is
also some difficulties and problems during the research. I am not sure about if the
information is 100% reliable (therefore, I try to go on the official websites of the
technology.). Furthermore, Other meanings of ICT popped out.
What did you think of this assignment?
(eg Was it interesting? Was it easy or difficult? What did you like doing? What could
have been better?)
I think this assignment is good. It is interesting that you can imagine you as an
investigator(counselor, manager, etc) to help the Smiths to finish an important
secret task. The tricky part is the identifying ICT table, it is hard to define a
technologys category.
What were the key things you learned during this assignment?
(eg How important an initial plan is, how to do animations)

Self-evaluation: Assignment 12

I think I have learned a lot during helping the Smiths. First, I have a better
understanding about ICT and how to identify them. Second, I know better at the
ICT tools and their purpose during the research. Last but not least is I understand
the importance of having a brief plan before the actual project. This make me
have a better idea what should I do and have less procrastination.
What would you do differently if you were to start this assignment again?
I think I will learn from the previous assignment and use the experiences to make
the project better. For example I might change my report from document format
to powerpoint, and list out the key points. Furthermore, I will add my bibliography
too. I will try to use more advanced vocabularies in order to make the report more
professional. And also, I can add some statistics and graphs to make the source
more reliable. If I am going to do this project again, I am definitely going to try my
best to make it better than the last time.
