Foundation International (QFI) fellowship application. I believe Rafef to be an exemplary staffscholar as well as a person of tremendous character with significant leadership skills.
Mrs. Saed has been a loyal employee of The Dearborn Academy School for the past seven years
teaching Arabic for elementary and middle school students. She has demonstrated a passion for
teaching the Arabic language to students and introducing them to different cultures of the world.
Mrs. Saed has shown excellent leadership qualities in her roles. During her time in the
classroom, she engaged and motivated students. As a teacher, she has utilized many different
teaching strategies including a variety of hands-on inquiry-based activities that engaged and
motivated her students to learn in a positive, organized, non-threatening classroom atmosphere.
Many of her techniques were developed from best practice and differentiated instruction. She
strove to adapt lessons to meet the needs and learning styles of each child, and to challenge their
capacity to think. Her commitment to detail made her successful in working with a variety of
students whether they were special needs students, or students from diverse ethnic backgrounds.
I was struck by the commitment Rafef seemed to have to excellence, not only in her scholastic
endeavors, but also in all aspects of her life.
I find Mrs. Saed to be consistently pleasant, tackling all assignments with dedication and a smile.
She has handled her positions confidently and exhibits a professional work ethic. She attends to
all duties in a prompt and efficient manner, and for that, I believe she is a qualified candidate for
your program, which will help her improve her understanding and strengthen her knowledge for
her continued studies and education, as she will utilize her continued knowledge to help our
students succeed and become successful leaders in the future.
Mrs. Saed is well organized and prepared. She is focused, dedicated and respected by students,
parents, and staff. It is for these reasons that I offer high recommendations for Rafef without
reservation. Her drive and abilities will truly be an asset to your establishment. If you have any
