Shopping Centre Advertisement


Instructions:
-it must be done in groups of four.
-you have to look for information about what types of clothes are sold in shop
centres.
-you are going to be given a season to represent the seasonal clothing.

Theme:
-each group has to imagine as if they are shop centre owners and you have to
decide what type of clothing is going to be sold, creating an advertisement
according to the season previously given.
Advertisement:

-you have to get to an agreement and then create a sale advertisement offering
the seasonal clothing.
-you should go to a real shopping centre to get information about how ads are
made and what sort of clothing shop centres sell in the specific season.
-In the ad, there must be at least 20 pieces of clothing.
-there should be clothes for different gender and ages (for male, for women, for
children).
-you must include at least 5 accessories within the 20 pieces of clothing.
-In the ad, there must be the percentage off of the clothes.
-you should also include a telephone number as well as a webpage.
-The ad will be a digitalised one, using the webpage:
http://www.glogster.com

1. It is a group work, between two and four students, either one or five is not

Mini Spelling Bee

Instructions:
-Each Students will asked to spell 5 words.
-Each word will be pronounced twice. The third time will be
given in a sentence.
-The students will have only 1 minutes to answer. This
include, the first time word, the repetitions and the word in a
sentence.
-The students must say the word before they start spelling it, and to express
theyre done, the students must say the word again.
-Once they have starting spelling, they can star again only once, saying the word
out loud again.
-Each word is a point, the ones that have the best scores (from 3 to 5) pass to
the next round which are two more words.

Checking Part:

-When checking the crossword, every time that a student is asked to give the
correct answer (randomly), he/she should say the word within a sentence adding
In summer (I wear a swimsuit) and the situation -when I go the
beach/swimming pool.

-If there is a grammar issue, a siren will start; so the student must tell a joke.
-if there is a pronunciation mistake, a bell will ring; so the student must sing the
chorus of a song.

-if the answer is right, the student gets 2 points to the next quiz.

Game: Talking about what I am wearing

Instructions:

-There will be two rows of chairs.


-The class will be divided into two groups. One group will leave the room. The
other group will stay.
-The group that stays will be seated in a chair with their eyes covered.
-The other group, while is outside the room, will interchange clothes with their
classmates.
-Once both groups are ready, the one outside will come into the room and be
seated randomly back to back with the other person.
-When both groups are seated, the one with the eyes covered will asked his/her
classmates if he/she is wearing something. For instance:

-S1: Are you wearing a raincoat?


-S2: No, Im not
-S1: Are you wearing a jumper?
-S2: Yes, I am.

-S1 can only ask 8 questions only.


-When the S1 discovers what the other person is wearing, he/she can take the
cover off his/her eyes. If he/she doesnt must keep the cover on his/her eyes. It
means he/she loses the game.
-Once everybody is finished, the roles of the groups change, and the activity
begins again.
-The ones that won the game earn extra points for the next summative evaluation.

Oral Presentation: Movie Review


Instructions:
1. Get in groups of four.
2. Choose any film you like the most.
3. Present the film to you classmates and explain what happens in the film (plot),
but DO NOT tell the end of the film.
4. Present background information, who the director is and who the
characters and main actors and actresses are.

Explain why you chose the film.
