Vancouver is a city located in Canada. The city is named after an English captain George Vancouver.
Its situated in the province of British Colombia. The languages spoken are French and English. There
are about 603.500 inhabitants living in Vancouver. During the winter there isnt much snow and its
one of the warmest cities in Canada during the winter. In 2010 Vancouver organized the Winter
Olympic games.
According to the London based Economist Group of Economist magazine fame, Vancouver is one of
the best cities in the world to live because of healthcare, political stability, income, culture,
education, climate and activities.
Because of the location of Vancouver you can easily get access to the Asian and American market.
The major economic sectors in Vancouver include trade, film, natural resources, technology and
tourism. Vancouver has a technology-growing sector for example software development. Tourism is
also an important sector, tourists spend almost 4 billion dollar a year.
Vancouver has an environmental friendly mind-set. On term they want to become the greenest
place to work in the world. They have set up a Greenest City Action Plan and Economic Action

Beijing

Beijing (Peking) is the capital of the Republic of China. Beijing means Northern city in
Chinese. It is one of the most populated cities in the world, the city has a population of
19,600,000 people. The people who live in Beijing speak the Beijing dialect. In 2008 Beijing
hosted the Summer Olympic and Paralympic games.
Beijing is one of the most popular cities for tourists to visit, with over 4,4 international
visitors per year. Most of the people love to visit the ancient buildings that are located in
Beijing. The must see places in Beijing are: Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, Great wall
Beijing is among the most developed cities in China. Finance is one of the most important
industries in the city Beijing is also known for its innovative entrepreneurs and high-growth
start-up companies. But not all companies are slang Beijing, if you go shopping in Beijing
there is a high chance of you finding pirated goods in markets around the city. The city is
developing at a rapid pace, which is a good thing. But its also causing air pollution in the
city.

Edinburgh
We have decided that Edinburgh is the best city to expand the activities of Adventurous
appetites. Before expanding to America or Asia, we want to expand and grow within Europe.
Today were still a small company in Europe and expanding includes a lot of risks. Overseas
they have different legalisations and regulations. In Europe, a lot of countries have about the
same laws and rules. Therefore we choose to expand first within Europe before expanding to
America or Asia.

There is a lot of tourism in Edinburgh. Edinburgh is also a Unesco World heritage Site.

protection by Unesco as World Heritage Site gives
Edinburgh some advantages. It attracts tourists who
want to see the city. The nature in Edinburgh is also
beautiful. There you can make beautiful walks and
cycling tours. Edinburgh has, for the tourists who are a
little bit more sporty, several golf lanes. The more
adventurous tourists have the possibility to follow an
adventure tour.
As a matter of a fact the Scottish economy is focussed on the service sector especially
tourism, financial services and the banking sector.
Each year in August there is an art festival, more than 250 000 tourist come to the city to go
the festival. Its also the capital of Scotland.
Edinburgh is also a real foodie paradise. It has five Michelin Star restaurants and there are
numerous coffee shops. Whisky lovers can visit a Whisky distillery where they can see
distillery process of making a real Scottish whisky.
We can say that Edinburgh is all round city who has something for everyone.
Edinburgh is named as the best mid-sized European city of the future for 2014/2015 by the
New York Financial Times. This fact emphasize why Adventurous appetites should expand to
Edinburgh.
