Preamble Essay
Who knew one of the most deadliest and most well known war was world war two. The
land of the free where the most bloodiest war ever existed and broke none of the commandments
of the preamble. The main reason why Im writing this essay, besides me being forced to, is
basically how did world war two start and how does it relate to the preamble. In my opinion I
think world war two is a great topic to write about because it shows the impacted the preamble
did to help the government to stop the war.

It was 4:45 in the morning when Germany had just invaded Portland and war had began.
Germany had attacked so quickly most of Portland's air forces was destroyed. They also
destroyed all the bridges and attacked them from ground and air. But thing about this war that
made it so different was the Germans cruelty, the Germans just didnt aim at soldiers they aimed
at civilence too. But what could Portland do they were outnumbered and defenceless with their
air forces gone and there calvary stode no chances with German tanks. A few moments later
France and Britain sent out an ultimatum to Germany saying back off of Portland, but later on
Germany penetrated deeper into Portland thats when France and Britain declared war on
Germany. September 1, 1939 the bloodiest war in history occurs. 43 countries at war fighting for
freedom and power.

On June 6, 1944 western allies invaded Frances Normandy coast. Months of carefully
planning the Unite States would land on French's beach to invade Germany territory to gain it
back for England. More than 160,000 troops, 5,000 ships, and 13,000 aircraft lineup for the most
well known achievement for us history. D-Day. More than 9,000 people died in that war but

there sacrifice allowed more than 150,000 troops to invade and conquer the German army. The
day that we beat the Germany army will always be in memoration for the people who gave their
lives for our freedom and rights.

The only downside to winning the war war money. The whole country went in to, what
we called, The Great Depression.the army has spent so much on war equipment they fell into to
debt with everything they parachuted to keep their county from being overrun by Nazi soldiers.
The Great Depression is considered as devastating worldwide impact. The Great Depression
started in 1930 and went on till 1940, it lasted 10 years. If you think about it thats how long the
80s last, but seriously while the Great Depression was going on so was the Dust Bowl. So it was
a lot harder to buy food because it was barely growing and when the stock market it made even
harder. All while world war two was occurring.

The moment the war grew so did Germany. When the Northern and Eastern part of the
globe, remembered Germany won the first world war, so the countries on the Northern and
Eastern decided to join forces with Germany. At the time of the French and Britain was
attacking on Germany the United States was planned a naval attack on Japan called Operation
Orange. Later on the Japanese bombed Pearl harbor known as the Bombing of Pearl Harbor.

September 2, 1945 the war ends. The bloodiest war in history has ended. On September
2, 1945 the Japanese army officially signs the surrender document, thats the sign that can
celebrate. Six years of hard, cold, and bad times are over America had officially won world war
two. The United States never indented on killing Adolf Hitler so we didnt kill him he killed

himself he knew he was going to get captured so instead of being captured he killed himself.
Beside Germany all the rest of the counties surrendered and signed the document. Now the only
question left to ask is why we dont celebrate september 2.
Now the Preamble had a huge affect on world war two. The Preamble help check and
balance our government with how much money we spend on the army and the crops like farms.
The Preamble also help use the legislative branch to declare war on Germany. Well in my
opinion I think the checks and balance was mainly why we didnt lose world war two because if
the central government took too much power the states would say calm down we need to split the
power. the only time I think the United States slipped up is when we fell in the Great Depression,
the two governments were think about their problems and not the counties or the states problems.
In conclusion I think the government did an ok job of dealing with the problems that was
in world war two, considering they had to deal with winning the war too for our safety. This was
a great topic to write about and it was interesting to find out how it all played out and see what
kind of problems the government had to deal with during world war two. It was very interesting
to see what kind of influencing the preamble did in with shaping the United States so the
problem were dealing with doesnt become a bigger problem. Over all I like researching this
topic.
