The Impact Of The Preamble

The Preamble has forever changed the way Americans think and act , as
well as how the government thinks and acts. It provides the guidelines to American
justice and society. I think the Preamble has and will affect Americans forever. And
there are many examples of this in what we do.
The purpose of the Preamble was to summarize the constitution and to
replace the Articles of Confederation. It was made in the late 1700s in Philadelphia. The
Articles of Confederation had many flaws like the government couldnt raise an army , or
raise tax , and didnt have a chief executor (President). At first our founding fathers were
just make changes to it, but later decided to make something completely different. They
made the Constitution of The United States of America. And im happy they did.
Each and every line of the Preamble had meaning. We the people of the
United States the citizens of America.In order to form a more perfect union to a make
a better America. Establish justice serve fair justice to all people rich and poor.
Insure domestic tranquility peace in the nation. Provide for the common defense
establish an army. Promote the general welfare provide for the peoples basic needs.
and secure the blessing of liberty to ourselves and our posterity freedom to us and
future generations. Do ordain and establish this constitution for the United states of
America provide these to the American peoples. These were the things our founding
fathers wanted us to go by in the future.
One huge example of these things is 9/11. Sept. 11, 2001 was a tragic

day when 3000 people lost their lives to a terrorist attack. After that the government
ensured that we were safe then got to work. They upped airport security to make sure it
never happened again. "Provide for the common defense" we then stormed to the
home of the people who caused it (Iraq Iran and Afganistan). It was the longest war in
American history. From 2001 10 - 2014 , that's 13 years. The war in Iraq was from 2003
20 , March - 2011 15, December , that was 8 years , 8 months , 3 weeks and 5 days. In
May 2 , 2011 we killed the man responsible for the attack (Osama Bin Laden). After that
war ended we built a new one World Trade Center and made sure America is safe.
Before this attack we weren't safe. And it was very different. In the airport you can even
bring knifes on planes and also there were many ways to bring a bomb in one. This was
a wake - up call to our defense. "Promote the general welfare" the government made
airports safer and reassured the people that it wouldn't happen again , and it hasnt.
"Establish justice and ensure domestic tranquility" we brought the people responsible to
justice and we are now at peace in America.
All in all th preamble has effected us to this day and will continueto
effect us in the future. And I also think that America will turn to the Preamble in our time
of need.
