Technology is evolving faster than people can keep up with. Over the span of one generation technology has become a
staple of the American classroom. Interactive White Boards, computers, laptops, I pads and clickers are just a few of
the technologies that are evolving what education looks like. When I was elementary school the idea of a tablet was
inconceivable , now schools have class sets of Ipads. It is unlikely that the advancements of technology will slow down
anytime soon. I predict to see a growth in educational technology in future years. I believe that the use of online school
programs is going to see a drastic increase and will become an option that more students and their family turn to. An
online school program could be a great resource for children whose parents are military and or travel a lot. Instead of a
child being exposed a variety of classrooms and a variety of curriculums the student could keep on track with their
education due to the individualized manner of online school.
